Gouache on illustrator's board, 22.5 by 19 cm

Rees was an advertising artist who specialised in illustration and book design and was a master of simplicity of layout. The present design is for L.J.Ludovici's 1961 work "Gone of Oblivion - A Vendetta in Science" (published by Max Parrish)  although in the event a slightly different version of this design was used.
